The first week of school is always hectic.  For some it could be difficult and confusing. On my first day I had no idea where I was going. Luckily, I found a map that helped me locate the building I was supposed to be in. There were also people located outside of every building in case anyone had a question or needed help.

I think Iowa Central does a really good job of meeting everyone’s needs on the first week of school whether you have a question about your schedule, need help finding your classroom or if you even need a snack or some water; someone is always close by when you need them.

Monday night students who attend Iowa Central had the opportunity to participate in a night at Fort Frenzy with their peers. It gave students a chance to meet new people and play fun games like mini bowl, laser tag, arcade games and even roller skating. They also had outdoor activities. It was a great opportunity to go have fun and get their minds off of school work.

Nick Huntley said it was a fun time going and playing games and stuff with friends and it was also cool to meet some new people.

Another peer said it gives people opportunities to meet new people at things like this. It’s really cool I don’t think a lot of big colleges have stuff like this.

So as a student here at Iowa Central, I tally Fort Frenzy Night as a success.
