Saturday, Sept. 3 Rob Allison and company made their way down to Ed Barbour Field at Iowa Central Community College for the Tritons PBR scout day. An event that started right around two o’clock and went on for five hours. The day started off with a little intro from Rob Allison himself and the Tritons got rolling into running the 60 yard dash. After the 60 the Tritons moved onto their rounds of BP, Sophomore Isaac Becker had the hardest hit ball with an exit speed of 103 mph, while Sophomore Brent Hokeness had the farthest hit ball at a distance of 375 feet.

After the rounds of BP the Tritons moved onto their defensive workout, outfielders took ground balls from right field while infielders took grounders from shortstop. Moving on to the last event of the day, the pitchers. Starting the pitching off was Sophomore John Klein who got the ball rolling throwing a max fastball of 93 mph. 7 Triton pitchers all hit or threw above 90 mph on the bump. The Tritons capped the night off with a successful day at the yard heading into Labor Day weekend. The Tritons will travel to Missouri to play two games this Friday.
