This past Monday, a Florida man was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. Noe Jimenez-Cortes intentionally doused his girlfriend with an accelerant, and then he lit her on fire with a cigarette. At first, Jimenez-Cortes fled the scene, but was later found by authorities that night. The victim is currently still in critical condition, and the charges against the boyfriend are still pending.
