Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris visited Fort Dodge this past Sunday, Nov. 8. Harris kicked off her visit at the Second Baptist Church where she would greet patrons and discuss her stance on issues such as climate change, gun control, and changes to the education system as the dozens of friendly church goers were eating their Sunday morning feast.

Pastor Danny Darensbourgin welcomed Kamala Harris with open arms to their Sunday morning service. Harris then gave a touching speech about the importance of her faith.

As the Pastor announced that it was time for the church goers to greet their neighbor,  Harris had to head out to a meet and greet of her own. The Kamala Harris Meet and Greet was held less than a mile away at River Hops Brewery, where she discussed in more detail her stance on topics that the people of Fort Dodge care about and convince people that she still stands a chance in the saturated Democratic Candidate pool.
