Two days ago, the Fort Dodge Fire Department responded to a fire that started within a garage at 1328 South 27th Street. The fire was reported at exactly 10:03 P.M., and smoke was filling the neighborhood whenever firefighters arrived on scene. Smoke was exiting out of the garage through a window on the east side of the structure, and this affected the visibility in the area during that time. The fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire, and fortunately no injuries were reported from the incident.
