With COVID-19, many are wondering what our fall-favorite events will look like this year…but you can still make it memorable! Many fall events can still take place with social distancing or within the coziness of your own home with a small group of people! Here is a list of a few ideas that you can do with friends or family this fall!

  1. Apple Orchards

Many find visiting apple orchards are a key part of their fall festivities. This is still possible since most of the day can be spent outdoors where social distancing can happen!

2. Pumpkin Patches

Much like apple orchards, social distancing can happen outside to still find that perfect pumpkin! Do not forget to check out the little gourds too!

3. Pumpkin Carving

After your visit to the pumpkin patch, be sure to carve a special face into your pumpkin. If you would like to leave your pumpkin whole, try decorating by drawing and coloring an image with a permanent marker.

4. Decorate Your Dorm

As most say “It’s spooky season!”, it’s time to be in the spooky spirit! Grab your roommates and decorate your dorm!

5. Bake an apple or pumpkin pie, bake and frost sugar cookies, make apple cider, and more!

Be sure to eat and drink your fall favorites!

6. Rake leaves & jump for joy!

Just like when you were 6 years old, find a rake, a friend, and jump!

7. Binge watch Halloween movies

Halloween movies are an all-time favorite and a perfect excuse to stay in, snuggle up with a blanket, and eat a fall favorite food!

8. Get a head start on Holiday shopping

Start thinking about all the special gifts you need to buy this year! You can start early with handmade gifts or be thinking about those special items your loved ones need or want!
