This is the second parade the marching band has participated in so far this year, with the last one being in Algona during their “Band Days” celebration.

The Homecoming Parade will begin west on Central Avenue to the City Square. Central Avenue between 12th Street and the City Square will be closed to traffic beginning at 2 pm, Drivers are asked to avoid parking on Central Avenue this afternoon. Parking in city lots will be free from 2 to 5 pm.

Iowa Central will not be the only band attending the parade; alongside Iowa Central, the Fort Dodge High School Marching Band will be making an appearance as well.

Aside from the Marching bands, many floats featuring different parts of Fort Dodge will also be featured.

The Parade will take place on October 7 at 3:30 pm.
